SEED - ARTIST BOOK AND PHOTOGRAPHIC SERIES     
 
SEED is a body of work and artist book developed over a number of years from 2018 to 2023. I photographed at a small Hudson Valley Seed Company farm plot in Kerhonkson over the course of a year, returning every week. I documented the circular process of earth defrosting, seeding, saplings growing, plants bearing fruit, and the fruits bringing forth seeds again.

For this project, I selected 24 images from the thousands if photographs I shot and worked with them digitally to visually negotiate the disturbing feeling that we are unraveling the thread of life, carelessly letting biodiversity collapse happen as a side effect of our Western way of life.

The project exists in a range of formats (artist book, continuous wall installation, individual prints). It is adapted to each exhibition site.
